Soldier's Notes

 

Private William P. Horn, served in Company C, Mcqueen's Light Artillery, Gregg's Battery and died on September 7th, 1864 from a gunshot wound to the back (by shell) suffered on August 19th, 1864 at Petersburg. His uncle, Private Neal Horn, also served in the battery.
